St. Catherine’s is a Church of England School and is proud to have been caring for and educating the children of Heathfield for over 100 years. During this time the school has been extended and modernised and now occupies a new site where it is the heart of the local community.
Our school community has chosen 5 ‘Core Values’, which underpin life at St Catherine’s. The Christian values of Justice, Compassion, Perseverance, Courage and Friendship are celebrated and shared across the school. They help us celebrate the Christian ethos and character of the school and provide us with practical examples of what this looks like in practice. These ‘Core Values’ are also shared across the United Schools Federation.
St. Catherine’s was inspected in January 2019 by OFSTED. We were judged as a ‘Good’ school, this reflects the consistently high quality of provision across all areas of the school. In November 2016 our school was also inspected by SIAS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools) and judged ‘Good’, confirming the high quality of our Church School provision.
St. Catherine’s is part of the very successful ‘United Schools Federation’, (USF). All schools work closely together in many ways which increases the opportunities that every child in the federation receives. The schools work together under the banner of…
“Aiming Higher…Achieving More…Together” Please feel free to contact us to find out more about us or to arrange a visit to come and see our school.
